For venues

Help people know before they go.

If your venue is already on CAN WE GO?, you can claim it for free and take responsibility for keeping your venue information useful and current.

Claiming is free

Better information helps more people decide whether they can actually come.

“Accessible” rarely tells somebody enough. CAN WE GO? is designed around the practical details people need before they leave home.

What claiming gives you

  • Maintain core venue details
  • Confirm access features and their conditions
  • Add authorised photos, social and video links
  • See member saves and additions to plans
  • Reply to public Reality Checks
  • See what information would make your listing more complete

Why claim?

Turn a listing into something people can actually plan with.

CAN WE GO? may already hold public-source accessibility information about your venue. Claiming lets an approved representative add first-hand venue information without erasing independent evidence or visitor feedback.

Maintain your accessibility information

Confirm what you offer and add the conditions people actually need to plan, rather than relying on a vague yes or no.

Keep your venue details current

Update descriptions, address, website, booking links, phone details, pricing information and relevant sessions.

Add venue photos and media

Submit photos you are authorised to use, plus social and video links. Photos are moderated before they appear publicly.

See real member interest

See genuine counts for saves, additions to member plans and visitor Reality Checks, without seeing private member information.

Respond to public Reality Checks

If a member leaves a public note about their visit, an approved claimant can respond publicly as the venue.

Improve your listing health

See what information is missing and what would make your listing more useful. This is information completeness, not an accessibility score.

How it works

Four simple steps.

  1. 1

    Find your listing

Search CAN WE GO? for your venue and open its public listing.

  2. 2

Choose “Run this place? Claim it”

Sign in and tell us your organisation, role, work email and how we can verify your connection.

  3. 3

CAN WE GO? checks the claim

A person reviews the claim before any venue management access is switched on.

  4. 4

    Manage your listing

Once approved, your Venue Dashboard opens and you can maintain the information people use to plan their visit.

Trust matters

Claiming does not give a venue control over everything.

  • Venue-supplied information is identified as such.
  • Visitor-reported information cannot simply be overwritten by a venue.
  • A claim does not create an accessibility certification or blanket “accessible” rating.
  • CAN WE GO? continues to moderate evidence, reports and corrections.

What good information looks like

Details beat labels.

Instead of only saying “Wheelchair accessible”, tell somebody what is actually there.

“Main entrance is step free. Lift serves both public floors. The heritage room has two steps and no alternative entrance.”

That kind of information helps a person decide for themselves whether the venue works for their needs.

More venue tools are coming later

Paid subscriptions are not live yet.

CAN WE GO? plans to add optional tools for deeper insights, information freshness, richer presentation and multi-site management. Claiming and maintaining your core venue information is available without a paid subscription.

No payment details required
